Strengthen Your Lower Body Through Effective Exercises With This Great Plan

Exercises are important in your muscle building program and hence to strengthen your hamstrings, quadriceps and hips; you need to do a god workout. The following exercises will help you build more muscle in your lower body.

Assisted squats

Grab a towel and loop around a firm object, fixed at optimum height like a door knob. Now hold the ends with your hands and acquire a sitting position by lowering yourself while keeping your back straight. Bend your knees to 90 degrees and try bringing your thighs parallel to the floor. Ensure that you are able to see your toes. Now gradually raise yourself and repeat the exercise.

Lunges

If you want to increase the difficulty of the exercise, then use weights. Grab weights and take a large step with your right feet of about 2 feet forward. Keep your left foot at its place and bend your both knees to 90 degrees. Now raise yourself by placing all your weight on the front leg. Repeat ten times on right leg then switch to left leg.

Lift

Start with a kneeling position. Support yourself on your hands and knees and, then straighten your right leg so that your right toe touches the ground and not your knee. Now raise it so that your right leg and hips come in a straight line, then lift your right arm and bring it to your shoulder level. Hold your position for 2 seconds and then gradually lower your arm and leg and repeat the exercise with your left side.

Inner thigh

Lie on your left side and put your right leg forwards and bend your knee to 90 degrees. Keep your toes on the floor and lift your left leg up. Hold your raised left le for 10 seconds and then lower it. During the exercise don’t put pressure on your right leg. Now repeat the workout by lying on your right side.

One-legged dead lift

Stand upright and hold some weights according to the difficulty level you want for yourself. Now bend your right knee and place the foot on a chair or a ball. Bend yourself at hips enough to bring the weights to your mid shins. Keep your shoulders back and back straight. Now straighten your body and raise yourself up and repeat the exercise.
